For eight nights each June, the Mediterrane Film Festival turns the harbour cities of Malta into one open-air cinema. Premieres screen beneath the bastions of Valletta, restored classics return to grand baroque theatres, and the streets fill with film-makers from across the Mediterranean basin.

The festival pairs a curated competition with a packed public programme — open-air screenings, in-conversation events and late-night shorts. Whether you are an accredited delegate or visiting for a single evening, this page is where you will find everything you need to plan your week.
