Mike Goodridge
Mike Goodridge is an international producer whose London-based company Good Chaos was established in 2020.
Goodridge recently produced Edward Berger’s Ballad Of A Small Player for Netflix starring Colin Farrell and Tilda Swinton, which played at the Telluride, Toronto, San Sebastian, Zurich and London film festivals.
He also produced Laszlo Nemes’ Hungarian-language film Orphan which premiered in competition at Venice and was selected as Hungary’s submission for the international Oscar.
His production Left-Handed Girl from Taiwanese director Shih-Ching Chou and Oscar-winning writer and editor Sean Baker was selected for Critics Week in Cannes and longlisted for the international film Oscar.
Goodridge produced two films shortlisted for the international film Oscar in 2024 – Baltasar Kormakur’s Touch from Iceland and Sandhya Suri’s Santosh from the UK. Santosh was selected for Un Certain Regard at Cannes.
He was executive producer on Finnish action classic Sisu and was producer on Sisu: Road To Revenge which opened worldwide through Sony Pictures in November 2025.
Previous credits include multiple EFA winner and Palme d’Or winner Triangle Of Sadness, multiple EFA winner and Oscar nominee Quo Vadis, Aida?, and two Cannes competition entries Tchaikovsky’s Wife and Club Zero
Good Chaos is partnered in the pan-European production partnership The Creatives alongside companies such as Haut Et Court (France), Komplizen (Germany) and Lemming Film (Netherlands).
Goodridge ran finance, production and sales company Protagonist Pictures from 2012 to 2017 where he oversaw over 70 films including Cold War, American Honey, The Lobster, The Florida Project, Love & Friendship, The Rider, Hunt For The Wilderpeople and Lady Macbeth.
He also has a rich history in film festivals. He was the director of International Film Festival & Awards Macau from 2017 to 2020 and programmed for many years for Sarajevo, as well as consulting for Locarno, Chicago and Red Sea.
He was a trade journalist, editor and critic for many years and has written three books on film.
